Drag Racing is that kind of job. No experience? No Problem. Learn from a pro, Jerry himself is the instructor at the Blue Thunder School.  Top 10 finisher two consecutive years NHRA.

This is all hands on experience. YOU, (the student) will be putting the motor together yourself.

INTERESTED IN LEARNING ABOUT FUEL MOTORS

• Complete assembly from oil pan to injector

• Learn about down nozzles

• Install and degree the cam

• Assemble rods and pistons with rings

• Explanation in detail, the clutch and fuel management system

• Fundamentals of the bottom end

• Install the complete clutch and trans. in the car and setup

• Discuss the complete fundamentals of owning and operating a race car.

• Most important learn the language (Hat - Donet - Floater - down nozzle - Primaries -Straight up.

• Valve adjustment procedure

• The school program runs five days, Mon-Fri (9-5).

If you make a mistake when you assemble the motor, you will be shown the proper way. We will not just let you put it together unless you understand WHY

Classes run every week all year round.  Each new student will have his or her photo (in class) added to our web site, which can be used as part of your resume’ for employment. Or anyone else that needs to know that you attended the Blue Thunder School.

We also have accommodations at our home.  Living room, bedroom, bathroom plus three meals daily.
